Wanna Hear Something Fucked Up?

Hey…wanna hear something fucked up? Well, actually – I should note, if you don’t care for classic rock, you probably won’t care about this. Even if you do, you may not care about this, but hey…this is for those of you who will use this as a fun fact the next time you hit a lag in a conversation.

Listen to the guitar solo from The Doors’ “Five To One” (1968)…

Now, listen to the guitar solo from KISS’ “She” (1975)…

Finally, listen to the guitar solo from Pearl Jam’s “Alive” (1991)…

ALLLLLLLLL TOGETHER NOW…

Ain’t that fucked up? Don’t think I’ve ever heard that before – a guitar solo passed down from generation to generation, from Robby Krieger, to Ace Frehley, to Mike McCready. I found out about the connection between this strange trio of songs last night, when my uncle alerted me to it, but apparently nobody’s even trying to hide what went down here. They all admit they just copied the original. Kinda wild. Oh, and you know what? They all work insanely well in their respective songs. Three rockin solos. Tremendous.
